My sleeping schedule has been all over the place due to COVID-19, resulting in major under-eye baggage. This is due to my lack of a daily routine since I am still out of work. Last post, I reviewed sunscreen. I wanted to try out a new product. Today, I will be reviewing gel eye patches from Milk Makeup.
The Cooling Water Eye Patches claim to hydrate, soothe, and de-puff the under-eye area.
For $22 dollars, the packaging consists of six sets of eye patches. This product is easy to use, and the whole process only takes up to 15 minutes maximum. All you have to do is open the envelope and place them underneath your eyes.
While they sit for up to 15 minutes, the caffeine works at energizing the under-eye area by invigorating the skin to de-puff. The gel formula is hydrating because it includes natural seawater, aloe, and lavender to add moisture to the skin.
Review of the Product
I have tried similar products in the past, but instead a gel formula, the patches were sheet masks. I prefer the gel formula over the sheet mask patches.
The gel is thick and intact so the patches stay put. Be careful where you place them. Refrain from putting the patches too close to your lower lash line. Eyes are sensitive and you do not want to irritate them.
Pro-tip: For a cooler, “spa-like” experience, place the eye patches in the refrigerator before use.
Overall, I liked the Cooling Water Milk Makeup eye patches. According to their website, their products are vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, sulfate-free, alcohol-free, and soy-free. Although I believe $22 is a bit pricey, I may try a similar product by Milk Makeup again.
